Neurodiversity is a term that recognises that the human brain is incredibly diverse. Just like we have different hair colours and eye colours, we also have variations in how our brains are wired.
Neurodiversity is about the unique structure of the brain. It's about how neurons and synapses connect, leading to different ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world.
Let's talk about mental health. Mental health is our overall emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It's about how we feel, think, and behave. Just like physical health, our mental health can fluctuate. We can experience periods of good mental health, where we feel happy, resilient, and able to cope with life's challenges.
However, sometimes, factors like stress, trauma, or genetic predispositions can impact our mental health. This can lead to conditions like anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges.
